Situated in a quaint town near Milan, this sustainable abode is home to a young couple of computer scientists who seek to live and work in harmony with nature. Nestled on the outskirts of the village, the house enjoys serene views of a small acacia woodland, fostering a deep connection to the natural surroundings.

Architectural Layout

The ground floor hosts essential living spaces, including the entrance, kitchen, bedrooms, study areas, bathrooms, laundry room, and a spacious living room. A mezzanine floor accommodates additional amenities such as a gym and extra bedrooms, overlooking the expansive living area below. A central double-height space floods the interior with natural light, blurring the boundaries between indoors and outdoors.

Harmonizing with Nature

Drawing inspiration from the rustic charm of Lombard countryside farmhouses, the architectural composition exudes simplicity and authenticity. Building materials, including wood, rice straw, and cork, were chosen for their sustainability and eco-friendliness, while stone and oak wood accents add a touch of natural elegance to the interior.
